MANILA, Philippines (Released September 16) – The September 2021 Registered Electrical Engineering (REE) and Registered Master Electrician (RME) board exam results including the complete list of passers, top 10 examinees and overall performance of schools are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Electrical Engineering in seven (7) working days after the last day of exams.
As announced, 1,668 out of 2,590 passed the September 2021 Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination and 1,506 out of 2,233 passed the Registered Master Electrician Licensure Examination. The results of examination with respect to three (3) examinees were withheld as per Board Resolution No. 13 dated September 16, 2021.
The Electrical Engineering board exams were conducted on September 5-7, 2021 at testing centers located at the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga. The licensure exams were headed by the Board of Electrical Engineering Chairman, Engr. Francis V. Mapile and Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza, Member.
The September 2021 Electrical Engineering licensure exams are originally scheduled on April 2021 but later re-scheduled to due to the community quarantines brought by COVID-19 pandemic resulting to several travel restrictions.

Schedule of Registration
The schedule of online appointment for issuance of Professional ID and Certificate of Registration for the new Electrical Engineers will be from October 18 – 29, 2021 up to November 2 – 5, 2021.
Initial registrants are advised to register online via PRC official website via https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow the steps in online registration. Here are the registration requirements:
- Notice of Admission/NOA (for identification purposes only)
- Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- Two (2) pieces of passport-sized ID photos in white background and with complete name tag
- Two (2) sets of documentary stamp
- One (1) piece short brown envelope
PRC added that successful examinees shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Verification of Rating
The verification of ratings and test results for the Registered Electrical Engineer and Registered Master Electrician licensure exams given by PRC Board of Electrical Engineering will be available online few working days after the posting of results.
Successful takers can refer to PRC official website and use the Verification Page to know their board examination passing rate.
As posted, a passer shall only provide the exam name, the date of examination, the application number, first name and last name and the birth-date.
Oath-Taking Ceremonies
Due to the pandemic, the oathtaking ceremony for the newly licensed Electrical Engineers will be done online, now referred as the “e-oath”. The application system for the e-oath can be accessed online via PRC dedicated portal via https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and select “e-OATH” as transaction.
Inductees are required to print “OATH OF PROFESSIONAL” form that is downloadable at the PRC Online Services.
REE-RME 2021 Updates

Release of Results
Referring to the results of the previous Electrical Engineering licensure exams, taking into consideration the restrictions brought by the COVID-19 pandemic and the estimated target release date stated in the PRC Resolution No. 1283 series of 2020, the Registered Electrical Engineer and Registered Master Electrician board exams results are estimated to be released in three (3) working days or longer, after the last day of board exams.

Electrical Engineering Board Exams Summary (Stats)
Registered Electrical Engineering and Registered Master Electrician board exams are among the programs with huge number of examinees conducted by PRC.
The previous REE-RME board exams were held on September 2019 while the scheduled licensure exam in the year 2020 was postponed due to the pandemic. During these exams, 3,285 out of 4,891 examinees passed in REE while 2,634 out of 4,424 hurdled in the RME.
Michael Glen Borja Lataza from University of San Carlos ranked first in the REE exams garnering 92.60% rating followed by Gerald Magalona Mier from Bicol University – Legazpi having 92.05%.
Meanwhile, in RME exams, Carlo Latorre Padilla from Batangas State University Alangilan and Charlene Bolaños Wong from Laguna State Polytechnic University – San Pablo shared the top spot having 94.00% rating followed by John Paul Dumadapat Pino from Technological University of the Philippines Taguig having 92.50%
